Allow me to begin this post with an apology.  I am sorry that it has been so long since I have written.  It is most definitely my intent to write more frequently from here on out!  It is hard for me to believe that the 2013-14 school year is over and that summer is finally here.  It has been a very busy six weeks (time since my last post).  During that time, I have finished out my last school year at Covenant Day School, have moved from Indian Trail to Rock Hill, and have put in my first few “unofficial” days of work at Westminster Catawba Christian School.  I will take time to write in the next few weeks about the upcoming school year.  But, allow me to write one more blog looking back…

I want to take this opportunity to personally thank Dr. Marni Halvorson for her service to WCCS as the Interim Head of School for the 2013-14 school year.  I have had opportunity to meet quite a few folks in the last months and have heard nothing but glowing reports on the way that she led the school this past year.  It is my hope and prayer to build upon the foundation that she has laid and to lead with the same dignity and grace!

For those reading this blog during the summer months, I would love to ask you to chime in with a quick comment of thanksgiving to Dr. Halvorson as well.  Keep an eye out for my next post (probably on July 1st – my first official day on the job!!!) when I will spend some time looking forward!
